Ingredients for Corn with Red Pepper Sauce

For Serves 4.
  • 3 tender ears of corn
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • - Salt and pepperPinch of ground garlic
  • - Pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 pimentos, sliced in strips

Preparation of Corn with Red Pepper Sauce

1. Boil the corn and cut corn off the cob.

2. Prepare a white sauce by melting the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the flour and stir into a smooth paste, add the milk stirring constantly so no lumps will form. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and garlic. Add the sliced pimentos and corn. Serve immediately.
