Ingredients for Fried Pork Rind

For Serves 10-12.
  • 3 lbs. bacon
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation of Fried Pork Rind

1. Rub the skin of the bacon and rinse thoroughly with baking soda. Cut the bacon into 3x1- inches pieces. Place the pieces in a frying pan with water and salt.

2. Cook over low heat, turning occasionally, until the water has evaporated completely, then fry in its own grease until browned.
