Preparation of Baked Eggs with Mushrooms

1. Wash and slice the mushrooms. In a heavy skillet heat the oil and garlic; discard garlic once browned. Add mushrooms, season with salt and pepper; cook in their own juice over low heat.

2. Grease a baking dish. Place mushrooms in the dish (or individual ramekins), cover with cream and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a 350º oven till the cheese melts.

3. Remove from the oven and break an egg over the mushrooms, making a cavity; garnish the yolk with dill sprigs. Bake 3 minutes more or until set.
